Project Description

This project was a whole house remodel included adding a complete second floor. The primary goal was to enlarge this Dilworth home with an added larger kitchen and family area, which was non-existent in the 40’s lifestyle design. A welcoming front porch was added to help offset the mass of the enlarged front elevation while preserving the harmony with its historic neighbor homes.

While the footprint was only modestly increased for a new side entrance and rear expansion, the total new heated area of 1536 square feet virtually doubled the living space of the existing house.
