Project Description

This project added a dramatic 720 square foot screened porch / outdoor living area with an attractive tile floor and impressive gas fireplace with a chimney extending to the vaulted ceiling. The tile was extended outside the screened-in part to form the floor of the “grilling area. A bead-board ceiling is finished in a natural stain.

To maximize the view of the back yard below, the design incorporates strategically placed stainless steel cables as the safety barrier in lieu of pickets for the porch rails. The level below the new deck has plenty of space for the owner’s hot tub and additional entertainment space.
